In other event planning news, I attended the Bosco Bridal Expo at the Villa Barone Hilltop Manor (Mahopac, NY) yesterday hoping to discover some new eco-friendly vendors. Unfortunately, I was a bit disappointed in that I didn't encounter any "green" vendors, venues, or other services. That being said, the ticket only cost me $5 and I scored some great bridal magazines for inspiration for future posts and some event venues to add to the list.
I also ate some free strawberries and a sample of wedding cake...major bonus. I love me some free samples!

Liz - I think you made have found your niche! Green event planning would also involve some fabulous free samples... I'm thinking buttercream frosting with local butter and cake made with fresh eggs!
